How this stays free.
Some links pay us a fee. None of them change a single number the calculator shows. Here’s exactly how that works.
- How we make money
- Some links on this site are clearly labeled Sponsored. If you click one and get a quote, request information, or sign up, the partner may pay us a fee — per click, per quote, or per lead. That is how a free tool like this stays free.
- It never changes the numbers
- This is the line we won't cross: a paid placement never alters any figure the calculator produces. The property tax, insurance, closing costs, and payment you see are computed the same way whether or not a partner is involved. We would rather lose the fee than bend a number.
- We choose partners deliberately
- We only point you toward partners we think are worth your time, and we label them plainly so you always know when a link is paid. You are never obligated to use any of them — comparing options on your own is always fine.
- Why we say all this
- The FTC requires clear disclosure of affiliate relationships, and we agree with the principle: you deserve to know how a site is funded. If anything here is ever unclear, email hello@2muchhouse.com.
